Leeds through a lens - Leeds Gallery

'A selection of works of and about the City of Leeds and it’s people, shot by 15 different photographers. The photography in this show ranges from portraits to landscapes, documentary to fine art; some pieces were shot over 30 year ago, others just last week – the key that unites them all is the subject and the way each artist has chosen to represent it.

There was no specific ‘brief’ – the 15 photographers we’re simply asked to submit a selection of images they felt represented Leeds, whether that be it’s people, the architecture or just an atmosphere it evokes for them. This show is their unedited vision, and features work from established professionals, hobbyists and novices alike.'

The Yorkshire Artists - 4th - 25th January

The first installment of a two part exhibition sees 6 Yorkshire contemporary artists showing their work at the Leeds Gallery, Munro House.

The exhibition runs from the 4th to 25th January and is free to enter.
