Catch Up - Liam Henry + Matt Saunders

Our very own Liam Henry will be exhibiting at the next Catch Up in Leeds on the 16th February. His special guest is the wonderfully talented Matt Saunders/Rabbit Portal.

Catch-Up Events are to be held at Top-Up, the current studio/shop/gallery of Jay Cover.

Top-Up is a 10 minute walk from Leeds Station.

Coming out from Leeds Station towards City centre, take a sharp right and walk down New Station Street. Then take the first right onto Neville Street, walk directly through the Dark Arches. Take the first right after crossing the bridge onto Water Lane, continue on Water Lane for 5 minutes, arrive at Out Of The Woods café and Top-Up is next door.

Jeff Harris - 13 years of self portraits

An incredible video showing 4,748 self portraits taken by Jeff Harris over 13 years of his life. It's rare to see something like this that you want to watch the whole way through, but all of his images are technically brilliant, with great uses of colour and composition. Alot of them have a similar composition and framing to what Wes Anderson would use.

It is a great emotive journey, definitely worth watching. The new Noah Kalina perhaps?

They brought film photography and printing to the mainstream and now it seems like it might be the end of the line for some of our favourite emulsions here at NCI.
